On behalf of The Patrick School community and the storied St. Patrick and The Patrick School basketball family, I want to offer my congratulations to Nick Richards and his family on the prestigious honor of being selected to participate in the McDonalds All American game. “Nick’s honor continues this school’s tradition that includes Shaheen Holloway, Al Harrington, Dexter Strickland, Kyrie Irving, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. This can only be viewed as a testament to Nick’s talent, hard work, and commitment to be better each day.” This selection also can be shared by his teammates who have helped to put him in position to improve each day and succeed in games.
I also would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to the McDonalds All American selection committee. With all of the talent in this country, it is a difficult job, but they certainly chose wisely in placing a very deserving Nick Richards on the 2017 McDonald’s All American Team.
